Performance of Ceremonial Music /Great Music (Đại nhạc)

The ceremonial music was performed in the royal ceremonies of the dynasty such as Nam Giao Sacrificial ceremony, royal ancestor worshipping ceremony and other royal rites, etc. The ensemble includes drums, oboes and some other kinds of percussion of high volumes. The oboe and drum are the two most important instruments in the ceremonial ensemble.

At present, the ceremonial music performance is organized at the yard of Thế Tổ Temple (Hue Imperial City, Hue) from 10:00- 10:15 a.m, and from 04:00 -  04:15 p.m everyday.
